Assassin's Creed and Ubisoft are back with their first title made entirely of Next Gen, Assassin's Creed Unity. This time, we discover Paris during ixxx the French Revolution as the assassin Arno who grew up in a tempelriddares home after the murder of his father.
In the footsteps of Black Flag, who took the AC series from cold to hot again, Unity meets all the requirements we have an Assassin's Creed game in today's standard. We get a large, open world to explore and interact with, full of things to collect and side missions to accomplish. For me, the Assassin's Creed series has gone from a future I was skeptical, to a future that takes fans' feedback and industry criticism in mind for any future installation in the series. One often finds herself ixxx saying "ah, I wish it where the function was in the last game" - which in itself is proof that Ubisoft actually listened. Assassin's Creed Unity is no exception and introduces a number of new features that will be received with open arms by the player who is no stranger to the series. ixxx
The biggest improvement ixxx in single player mode is that you can now choose how to proceed in order to assassinate your targets. You get a brief analysis while scouting the area around there next victim, giving you clues and choices about how you want to prepare. For example, you can win the loyalty of opposing groups that can help you in the event of escape. Pick up a few documents you may see how your future goals will move before the event. Of course you can also ignore all this and only attack your target straight on. Even so, it is not as open and free as one might have wished, but it feels rather like you're stupid if you do not do the preparation steps. But the choice to be stupid, there at least.
The way you move d on has also changed and you can now move freely up and down the buildings depending on which button you press and hold. The way you fight in also bilvit adjusted, but not to your advantage as a player. Go into battle unprepared, your death be just seconds away when you bilvit surrounded and the enemy shooting at you from a distance. It has become more weight in both yours and your enemies stroke, making timing more important than ever and animations interrupted nor for you to have time to protect yourself against the next incoming attack. This actually got me to take a more insidious given position on the missions, which must be seen as a victory in itself ixxx for a game that is based on being an assassin. Earlier, I managed usually just go in and wield the sword a little, then lay the corpses like a carpet on the floor.
You can now customize your character more than ever with objects and armor through to unlock, buy or completing quests. It also applies to Arnos skills, because now you get points for quests that you can spend on building ixxx up your character to become a Master Assassin. These funtktioner offered but not in any way a depth of how you want ygga up your character, but is at least a step in the right direction.
Assassins Creed Unity paints a wonderfully beautiful picture of Paris and detail leaves me speechless sometimes. But it is also in the technical and game shows its greatest weaknesses. Frame drops and long load times is something I encountered all the time and also a lot of bugs. Bugs get you almost expect to find a pair in a game as big as Assassin's Creed Unity, but it's not okay if it's bugs that would stand in the way of experience. Even so, Unity a good step forward for the series and promises an interesting future for the series of this generation. The series still has a lot to work on when it comes to how to depict a story and it left a little wanting for more depth of character development. But now that you both can play co-op and given more freedom on how to tackle your goals keeps Assassin's Creed me entertained until then.
Read a couple of articles about the game yesterday and got the idea that it crashes ixxx very often, have piss-poor framerate,
