Unclear when, but probably sometime there around -96 or -97 I got my hotmail address. Haxpett was already in vogue so it had to be. Since then it has spun on. Sure it was a little yxigt there in the beginning with space limitation and other ills, and probably canada post have the spam filter varied in how much crap that come through and how much the desired stuck in the wrong box. Libertarian (as in speech, not beer) in me whining that I use proprietary M $ -products, canada post but the start-up resistor to find something new and saner has meant that I have hung there. Although I have since many years back (2009 I think) had a gmail account, and slowly but surely turned over more and more of my life in Google's possession canada post and now uses almost all the services that are there have the emails to 99% been managed through hotmail.
The notification for a while that hotmail will turn into some kind of outlook has made me more and more actively think it is time to migrate, but since migrate and migraines are so close together, I have not done more than read a single text about what it means to move over everything. Among email archives and contacts are a big part of my life, and almost canada post all my online life has been with me. Today's message from "outlook.com team" made me however to take the plunge. Settings in Gmail, import the whole thing and hope it works.
However, I feel that this is just the beginning. After the broadcast, making it will not be missed anything, and it can still log on and check hotmail so that nothing is left there. But then what? Getting all who email me to change in their address books? To look at all the places canada post I have registered on the hotmail address and change to gmail? Half of them I have my contacts have probably gained new addresses for one or another reason, and half of all sites is probably dead and gone now, but it might be good to shut me down completely if it is a sign, I do not longer canada post use. Maybe it is time to grasp the idea of writing down all the places I sign so that I have the list to go through the next time it is time for migraines. Wonder what it will be then?
